A first year student at Durham, Ben is trying to avoid his degree as much as possible and is looking to get involved with as much theatre as he can. After organising and writing multiple pantomimes to help support Kiddies Support Scheme, a local charity, he has continued with drama at university – working on the Michaelmas production at St. Mary’s College and then with First Theatre Company to direct his first show.

Ben has been producing and directing since his teenage years; his theatrical highlights include writing, directing and producing a 60-man musical at just 16, raising over £3500 for charity, alongside being involved in many productions with Durham Student Theatre. Ben is also highly skilled in funding, marketing and charity work, with his time in South Africa educating young people about gender-based violence taking particular president.
