Lydia Feerick
Associate Artist
Lydia is in her final year of studying Philosophy and Psychology at Durham University, where she holds a Vice Chancellor's Scholarship for the Arts. She has been acting in local theatre productions since the age of 9 - having trained with The Young Actors Company, The Redford School of Speech and Drama and Youth Music Theatre UK. Whilst working with The Young Actors Company, Lydia was attached to their agency and appeared in two episodes of EastEnders (BBC).
In 2012, after attending an open audition, Lydia was cast as a beggar in the Universal Pictures adaptation of "Les Misérables" (she tried not to feel too bitter about the fact the producers saw her more as a impoverished citizen than a well-to-do one) and skipped revision for her A-Levels to take part in the filming. Fortunately, she somehow still made it to Durham, allowing her to act in 15 productions (as well as producing one and directing one) and to travel to Zambia in August 2015, on the annual Durham Drama Outreach project.
Lydia hopes to pursue acting professionally after graduating from university and is currently in the process of applying to drama schools.
